Module 2: The KEA Document Verification Arsenal
Post-examination, KEA conducts a rigorous physical document verification process. Failing to produce these documents in the exact prescribed format will prevent you from receiving your Secret Verification Key, blocking you entirely from the Option Entry phase.
Mandatory Documents (Carry Originals + 3 Sets of Attested Photocopies):
- Final Printout of PGCET 2026 Application Form: : Must be physically signed by the candidate.
- Original PGCET 2026 Admit Card/Hall Ticket.
- SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card: Utilized primarily for Date of Birth verification.
- 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card.

- Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) or Degree Certificate.
- Valid Study Certificate: Must demonstrate study in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years, countersigned by the respective BEO/DDPI.
- Category / Income Certificates: (If applicable) Valid SC/ST/Cat-1 or OBC certificates issued by the Tahsildar.
- Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Certificate: (Article 371J) Only if claiming regional reservation.
Module 3: Exam Day Protocol & The Official KEA Dress Code
The KEA maintains a zero-tolerance policy for malpractice and administrative delays.
- Reporting Time & Bell Schedule: Candidates must reach their designated exam center 60 minutes before the exam starts. The first bell rings 10 minutes prior to commencement, allowing time to carefully shade details on the OMR sheet.
- Identity Verification: Alongside the Hall Ticket, you must carry a valid, original Government Photo ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport).
- The Official Dress Code: Wear simple, unlayered, half-sleeve clothing.
- Prohibited Items: Full-sleeved shirts, garments with large buttons or multiple pockets, thick-soled shoes, caps, sunglasses, and metallic jewelry.
- Banned Electronics: Mobile phones, Bluetooth earbuds, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly prohibited. All quantitative calculations must be executed manually on the provided rough sheet.
