In the Final year students select the specialization option such as Accounting and Taxation, Banking and Finance, Marketing and Human Capital and Business and Big Data analytics. Prof. Mahalakshmi A L is the Head of the Department of Commerce with 26 years of teaching experience. She has presented papers at conferences, published research articles in reputed journals, and authored a textbook. She actively contributes to academic development through leadership roles, viva examinations, and scholarly activities.
She has published research articles in reputed journals and presented papers at several academic conferences. She contributes to scholarly activities and academic administration through participation in academic boards and research forums.

Prof. Mini K Abraham has 29 years of teaching experience and one year of corporate experience. She has served on the Board of Examinations and Board of Studies of several autonomous colleges and was Chairperson of BOE for BBA at Bangalore University. She has authored 14 textbooks, published research papers, presented at conferences, and holds a patent.
She has published research papers in reputed journals and presented papers at state, national, and international conferences. She has actively participated in syllabus discussions of Bangalore University and contributed to academic conferences as a resource person.

A distinguished Professor and Director with over 14 years of rich experience in academic leadership, research mentorship, and specialized commerce education.

Prof. Vijay S Narayan has 31 years of teaching experience and 5 years of corporate exposure. He specializes in Marketing, HR, and Finance and focuses on holistic student development from admissions to alumni engagement. He actively mentors startups and trains students for placements using multimedia teaching methods.
His academic contributions include participation in conferences and academic forums focused on management and commerce education, along with mentoring students in professional development initiatives.

Prof. Rohini S S has five years of teaching experience and is currently pursuing a PhD at Bengaluru City University. She has published research papers in reputed journals, authored textbooks, and presented papers at conferences.
Her research contributions include publications in reputed journals and conference presentations focusing on accounting and taxation.

Prof. Thejaswini M has 10 years of teaching experience and specializes in Cost and Management Accounting. She actively participates in academic research, presenting papers at national and international conferences and publishing articles in reputed journals.
She has presented research papers at national and international conferences and published articles in reputed academic journals in the field of accounting and commerce.

Dr. Jagadish M H has 18 years of academic experience and two years of corporate exposure. He specializes in research methodology, finance, banking, and accounting. He has authored books, published research papers, and serves on the editorial board of a UGC STRIDE-sponsored publication.
He is an active researcher with multiple publications and contributions to academic books and editorial publications.

Prof. Rohini N Bhat holds an M.Com from Bangalore University and is KSET qualified. She has corporate experience as an Accounting Associate at Conduent and currently contributes to teaching, student mentoring, and academic coordination.
She has presented research papers at conferences and received the Best Research Paper Presenter Award at a national conference.

Ms. Apoorva Somayaji K S is an Assistant Professor in Commerce and Management with a keen interest in making business education practical and engaging. She focuses on simplifying complex concepts and connecting classroom learning with real-world business practices. Through discussions and application-oriented teaching, she encourages students to analyze business situations, develop strong analytical abilities, and build intellectual curiosity and professional competence. She contributes actively to student development activities as Rotaract In-charge.
Currently engaged in academic research with a focus on Human Resource Management and Marketing topics. Actively participates in conferences and research activities to contribute to academic discussions and knowledge sharing. Recently received the Best Paper Presentation Award at a conference for presenting research work in the area of management studies.

Dr. Lokesha G Angadi has over 15 years of teaching experience and serves as Placement Coordinator at Surana College Autonomous. His expertise includes finance, banking, and marketing. He has guided over 250 students in research and internships and actively conducts training on financial literacy and AI in education.
He is a Scopus-indexed researcher and author of the book Banking Innovation. He also co-owns a registered design patent and contributes to research on financial literacy and AI in education.

Assistant Professor in Commerce and Management with over five years of academic experience. Core expertise includes Accounting, Finance, and Management Studies, with a research focus on financial literacy, behavioural finance, and applied business analytics. Passionate about innovative teaching methods, student mentoring, and outcome-based education. NCC ‘C’ Certificate holder, demonstrating leadership, discipline, and teamwork, committed to shaping responsible and skilled future professionals.
Research interests focus on financial literacy, financial behaviour of young adults, behavioural finance, and applied business analytics. Engaged in academic research aimed at understanding financial decision-making patterns and promoting financial awareness through empirical studies and interdisciplinary approaches in commerce and management education.
