Description: The SHE Cell of Surana College (Autonomous) organized an awareness programme titled Your Rights, Your Responsibility: Understanding Sexual Harassment Laws” on Monday, 12th January 2026 at 10:45 AM in the G. C. Surana Auditorium. The programme aimed to sensitize students about sexual harassment laws, individual rights, and responsibilities in educational and professional environments. The session was graced by Dr. Nagarathna A, Associate Professor of Law, Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, as the Guest Speaker. Dr. Nagarathna provided valuable insights into legal provisions, the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, redressal mechanisms, and the role of institutions in ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
