DOs -

  • Let’s Keep Our Library a Great Place to Learn!
  • Maintain Silence: Keep the library calm and focused space.
  • Be Polite: Speak softly and treat staff and peers courteously.
  • Deposit Belongings: Leave bags, umbrellas, and personal books at the property counter.
  • Handle Books Carefully: Treat all library materials with respect — handle them gently.
  • After Reading: Place back in the right place or hand them to library staff for shelving.
  • Report Lost Cards: Inform the Circulation Section immediately if your card is lost.
  • Clear Dues Promptly: Pay fines or pending dues without delay.
  • Cooperate with Staff: Follow library instructions and support smooth operation.

Respect Space, Respect Each Other!

DON’Ts —

  • No Noise or Disturbance: No loud talking or group chatting.
  • No Food or Drinks: Keep the library clean & free from spills or odors.
  • No Cellphones: Turn off mobile phones and alarms before entering.
  • No Loitering: Avoid unnecessary movement or sitting idly.
  • Do Not Mark or Tear Books: Writing, underlining, or folding pages is strictly prohibited.
  • Don’t Carry Books Without Issue: Take materials only after proper checkout by staff.
  • No Lending of Library Cards: Library cards are non-transferable.
  • No Mutilation or Theft: Such acts are punishable by law.
  • No Personal Items Inside: Bags, personal books are not allowed.
  • No Liability for Personal Belongings: Keep your valuables safe.
  • Non-Members Not Allowed: Entry is restricted to registered library members only.
